Michael is a Chartered Accountant (ICAEW) in the UK, who spent eight years in audit in London and Los Angeles before moving client-side. He spent over 20 years as a Controller at US public companies and in the NFL, and as a CFO at an SF venture funded technology company before pivoting into the recruitment sector. As a former candidate and client of Mason & Blair his relationship with the firm exceeds 25 years. Michael’s focus is on searches for CFO / Controller / VP Finance and positions with an emphasis on SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting skills.
Michael’s interests are diversified ranging from captain of the University Chess team at Cardiff University, to playing American Football (Helmets and Pads Version) in London, appearing in a National Championship game (Budweiser Bowl). Later in life as a special needs parent, he has been active as an advocate and fundraiser for autism charities.
