Roy has over twenty years of finance and accounting recruiting experience within the Bay Area job market. During the first 8 years of his staffing career Roy was the top producing Recruiter in the country for a leading National search firm. Then in 2002 Roy became one of the founding Partners for the firm Mason & Blair and he has been instrumental in helping them become one of the premier staffing agencies in the Silicon Valley/Bay Area region.
Prior to his career in recruiting Roy worked in Corporate Accounting for Raychem Corporation in Menlo Park. Roy is a graduate of Notre Dame de Namur University where in addition to receiving his Bachelors of Science in Business Administration he also distinguished himself as the leading scorer and Captain of the Varsity Basketball team.
One of Roy’s biggest passions is music. He enjoys performing as the lead singer for the Country Rock band Modesto Roy & The Catfish Boys and has written and recorded an album of original songs that is available on iTunes. You can check out the band on Facebook or at www.catfishboys.com.
